Plastic Bearings

There are a number of engineering Polymers available for the manufacture of Plastic Bearings depending on the end requirements of the environment. Both speed and environment will affect the maximum temperature levels.

Safe operating temperatures for a few engineering polymers are as given:

• Acetal: 100 degree Celsius (max) to -50 degrees Celsius (min).

• Polypropylene: 60 degrees Celsius (max) to 0 degrees Celsius (min)
